Final bid 4041 credits. Was the top score for a while! This card is going to Minnesota. This is the dog of Bugaboo Jr from February Creature Cards. Ashley was commissioned to draw this dog a house. It's epic! I actually dreamed about drawing this card. In particularly the stripes on the legs and the shoes on a dog. Now when I look at it it's almost like the stripes you find on socks. Yes this dog only has two legs. I was able to get the drawing done before I had a mid morning crash and had to rest. My cold has progressed to be sniffly nose and plugged ears along with the throat and cough. Maybe this little guy is living in my throat. All tickly.
I used the scheduling perk on Listia to schedule my auctions for the next week or so. That way they come live even if I'm not online and able to post the picture. Then I can update them when I get the image ready to post. Hopefully I won't have any up for long with the "What could it be" image, but at least the auctions will be on the same day the cards are. It will be a tricky week juggling everything. I'm going to try to have fun with it and just see how it goes. I might end up behind on the blogs but My goal is to keep up with the cards and auctions, God willing, and catch up after that.

Final bid 1380 credits. This card will live in Wisconsin.
So I started ink today. I also had a migraine that pretty much killed my whole day. In addition to that I am sick with a cold that is centered in my throat and ears. I was just about to write how the conditions I don't like translated into a card I didn't like, when I realized the card could be revered. I like it much more now that it has multiple options and that I didn't mean for it to :) I'm also feeling better thanks to one of my card winners on Listia who caught the card before I pulled it down to adjust it into a reversible card. He was going to say how much he liked it and that made me feel much better. So thank you to csa3053 for the encouragement! Ink is hard for me since it's not erasable. The lines get thicker and thicker as I try to keep them smooth and straight. It gets blocky and chunky at places I didn't intend it to. I see everything that I didn't want to do but had to work with. In art school we were told not to mention these points since the audience won't know all that... but for the sake of honest blogging on my first ink card you get to hear it. Trying to draw straight with a headache is not easy at all. So perhaps to think positively considering the day it's pretty good after all. |
