Today I wanted to get a little of the tribal in from a couple days ago and try to free hand the creature. I didn't draw it first so there are a few ink errors. I have always been a graphite pencil girl so getting comfortable enough with ink to do this makes me feel pretty good. This is our monthly octo creature for my lovely Ungala. Don't forget to support her project. Time is running out to get great art!

So I believe I am finally done with the wolf commission. YAY. One more down... more to go but I'll take the gain where I can get it. Todays creature was the first attempt to complete my kickstarter wolf card. The supporter was looking for a more complete body image, jumping, that was more realistic. I hope that she likes the final product. Today I have for you the finished, painted, first attempt. If you would like to see the second wolf let me know.

I got the day 84 book in the mail and it looks great! The quality is very nice. I've seen a number of different online created books and it's nice to see the technology improving. Two of these signed and numbered will be on sale, to support the project, soon in the Creature Shop. 

I decided to take a shot at drawing a wolf free style with no image reference... and I got a cat lol. So you get a cat since I can't use this as a wolf custom. Hope you like the way it turned out. I still can't find my gouache paint but at least I know where my watercolor travel kit is. For not it'll do.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop. The world may never know... but I think this creature may be game to try it. I was thinking about drawing something from my crazy mutation dreams last night but I forgot until now so maybe another time.

Am I fated to never know where everything is? To never feel as if I have control over the objects that surround me? I considered adding words to this piece, but opted out. It would have said " WHERE IS MY PAINT?!" for I have misplaced my gouache paints. I felt like venting through art and was inpired by a painting I won on listia of the severed head of a Chupacabra.  Enjoy!

One of the kids did the painting on this card a while ago. Unfortunately I'm not exactly sure which one did. I know this was made at the same time, probably directly before or after, as day 55. After looking at day 55 my best guess is these are Kaleb splotches. I will try to remember to write the name of the little one on the back once they dry.

Hmm yesterday... I was doing some more cleaning and organizing after picking up some shelves at the thrift store. I hope to get my art better oriented on my bedroom walls. I was also hoping to find the missing creatures. I didn't have any luck.

Today was a great day for finding lost things. I was actually blessed enough to find both day 56 and day 86! Thank you Lord! He has been working on me about appreciating what I have. There is a peace that only God provides and He has been blessing me with it today.

So I needed to cut some more watercolor paper for atc cards today. Mostly for the commissions I'm struggling with, but also for the online trade group I participate in. Mysteriously, after I pulled the paper out and was cutting I looked over and saw this on the ground. I'm guessing I put it in the watercolor paper to keep it flat and protected. It's so nice to find something that was lot. Just have to find an envelope long enough to mail this and it will be on it's way!

There are a lot of creatures today and by the time I could get these all ready for you my little drawing picker was fast asleep for school tomorrow. I will get her to pick all the winners that need to be picked and have them ready for you tomorrow. Good luck!
