I was watching a long marathon of Spartacus during my migraine. The thought of slaves was heavy on my mind when creating this. Atc size in Ink and Watercolors. This drawing is open to anyone who hasn't won in April yet. The deadline to enter is 12am pst, April 23th I need to finish a ring for listia with acrylic glaze but keep forgetting. I had started this drawing to use when I received the glass domes, but the drawing has to be in the center. If I put a dome on this you can't see the drawing. This forces me to use the glaze again, encouraging me to finish the previous project. This is done with Ink and Watercolor. This drawing is open to anyone who hasn't won in April yet. The deadline to enter is 12am pst, April 23th An older splotch I found today and was inspired to use. I already have to get the glaze out so why not for one more. This is gouache and Ink. I've been spending most of my time cleaning up from the tornado that blows through my house while I'm having a migraine. This drawing is open to anyone who hasn't won in April yet. The deadline to enter is 12am pst, April 23th

I've been watching a marathon of Spartacus today. I do not suggest it for the faint of heart. If you didn't like 300 one heck of a lot it's probably not your cup of tea. Lots of blood and guts and fighting. I don't know why I drew a rat... perhaps all the trickery that goes along with it or perhaps this is just Ratacus. I suppose that will be up to you. FOR GLORY AND CHEESE! I did just realize I happend to watch the second half first but oh well, tis fate. There is one thing I really enjoy about the show. The way the people talk. It's hard to explain it. Perhaps I'll think of a way when I watch the first portion another day. This drawing is open to anyone who hasn't won in April yet. The deadline to enter is 12am pst, April 20th. I've got a migraine. I've been watching a show online that airs on a channel I don't get. This card was inspired by that show. The head outline taken directly from the opening sequence of the show. Anyone feel like guessing what show I've been watching? This drawing is open to anyone who hasn't won in April yet. The deadline to enter is 12am pst, April 19th. I traveld to Portland today. Didn't have a lot of time to get this done once I got home so the photo had to wait until the next day. If the blog is late I will delay the deadline to enter accordingly, but rest assured the art is created on the original date. This drawing is open to anyone who hasn't won in April yet. The deadline to enter is 12am pst, April 19th. And the winners are...This is a card you are going to want to see in person! The specific color balance on the image is just not exactly what the card is. I believe the winner will be pleased when they meet this creature.
Today I wanted to get a little of the tribal in from a couple days ago and try to free hand the creature. I didn't draw it first so there are a few ink errors. I have always been a graphite pencil girl so getting comfortable enough with ink to do this makes me feel pretty good. This is our monthly octo creature for my lovely Ungala. Don't forget to support her project. Time is running out to get great art! This drawing is open to anyone who hasn't won in April yet. The deadline to enter is 12am pst, April 17th. So I believe I am finally done with the wolf commission. YAY. One more down... more to go but I'll take the gain where I can get it. Todays creature was the first attempt to complete my kickstarter wolf card. The supporter was looking for a more complete body image, jumping, that was more realistic. I hope that she likes the final product. Today I have for you the finished, painted, first attempt. If you would like to see the second wolf let me know. This drawing is open to anyone who hasn't won in April yet. The deadline to enter is 12am pst, April 16th. I got the day 84 book in the mail and it looks great! The quality is very nice. I've seen a number of different online created books and it's nice to see the technology improving. Two of these signed and numbered will be on sale, to support the project, soon in the Creature Shop.
I decided to take a shot at drawing a wolf free style with no image reference... and I got a cat lol. So you get a cat since I can't use this as a wolf custom. Hope you like the way it turned out. I still can't find my gouache paint but at least I know where my watercolor travel kit is. For not it'll do.

The world may never know... but I think this creature may be game to try it. I was thinking about drawing something from my crazy mutation dreams last night but I forgot until now so maybe another time.

To never feel as if I have control over the objects that surround me? I considered adding words to this piece, but opted out. It would have said " WHERE IS MY PAINT?!" for I have misplaced my gouache paints. I felt like venting through art and was inpired by a painting I won on listia of the severed head of a Chupacabra. Enjoy!

Unfortunately I'm not exactly sure which one did. I know this was made at the same time, probably directly before or after, as day 55. After looking at day 55 my best guess is these are Kaleb splotches. I will try to remember to write the name of the little one on the back once they dry.
