Just an update that art is being made but I'm working through a migraine and the posts will be delayed. You will still have the chance to win as you would before with seven days to enter each piece when I can get them up. Hopefully sooner than later. Until then...

I found my colored pencils today and decided to try them out. I think I need to use a smoother paper. It's hard to write a blog when your tired. I woke up this morning and cut some atc's hoping to get an early start but my head had other plans and kept me on the couch until the afternoon when I needed to take my rat into the vet. Turns out he has a breed specific form of lice. It won't transfer to anyone or any other animal in the house. It may have come from the pine bedding we had been using a while back and they signs are only now prevalent enough to notice. He will get medicine once a week and a nice cage cleaning/sanitizing at the same time. Hopefully after a month he will be free of them. It hurts to see anything you love in such a state. Tomorrow the kitty gets his allergy shot... and Ash has a fever so she is staying home from school. Not enough hours in the day.

I ran out of time on this one so It's a card that you can choose to color yourself or not. :) Just like the card earlier this month you can choose to frame this as a 5 x 7 and have me write a note in the card for you or use it as a gift/greeting card and receive it blank inside. How fast they grow.

I've been having trouble with my time management. Balancing the kids, health and this has trickier moments. Today I'm attempting to get my blog all filled out and saved before I create the art. Perhaps I'll tuck in a little about it once the photograph is done. Hopefully this way, when the day draws to a close I will still have the energy to photograph the art and get it posted. 

I have no idea what to make. This is biggest problem with making whatever I want every day instead of keeping to a series like I did the first six months. I spend a lot of time trying to focus well enough to decide what to do. Inspiration can not strike every day, and on those were it is absent, I probably spend more time deciding what to do then actually doing it... Well maybe not more, but more than I should for sure. I just want to do something different and then at the same time I don't. I'm curious to see what will happen.

(Later on...) So inspiration did strike today. I finally glazed the goodies that needed glaze and decided to try to fit one of Ungala's paintings I won on Listia in the frame I used for the creature today. It didn't quite fit. After putting the frame back together I saw the little circle wholes left by the hangers on the back and the metal shiny spots coming through from the stand. I thought it would be fun to use them as eyes. If the piece was sitting you could see right through the eyes to open space. The drawing is DIRECTLY on the back part of the frame. The inside drawing area is about 4 x 6. 

I got all the way to editing the pictures when I fell asleep. Even with the head start I still passed out as things loaded.

I thought it was Sunday on Saturday and Sunday is Ashely's 7th birthday... so when "Sunday" started I was confused and called my mom. My parents had a good laugh at me and let me know it was actually Saturday. I was looking forward to my daughters birthday and didn't know what to do with the extra day. 

It wasn't too long after that corrective call that Kaleb gave my day purpose by using a spongebob plastic toy and poop to decorate himself, his walls and his WICKER dresser. Needless to say the wicker was wasted having no practical means or desire to clean the feces from the crevasses. 

Needless to say it has been an interesting weekend. Apologies for the blog delay. It comes as a combination of internet troubles, headaches and lack of focus. 

Day 108 Vinyl toy is sprayed with an acrylic glaze coating to keep the ink from smudging. Macron pens are not so great on these. Hard to draw on something three D when you're having trouble holding it.

I need to finish a ring for listia with acrylic glaze but keep forgetting. I had started this drawing to use when I received the glass domes, but the drawing has to be in the center. If I put a dome on this you can't see the drawing. This forces me to use the glaze again, encouraging me to finish the previous project. This is done with Ink and Watercolor.

I've been watching a marathon of Spartacus today. I do not suggest it for the faint of heart. If you didn't like 300 one heck of a lot it's probably not your cup of tea. Lots of blood and guts and fighting. I don't know why I drew a rat... perhaps all the trickery that goes along with it or perhaps this is just Ratacus. I suppose that will be up to you. FOR GLORY AND CHEESE!

I did just realize I happend to watch the second half first but oh well, tis fate. There is one thing I really enjoy about the show. The way the people talk. It's hard to explain it. Perhaps I'll think of a way when I watch the first portion another day.
