Final bid 505 credits. This card is going to Texas.
I have purchased cut cards before, they come in a variety of types depending on your medium. Primarily I just cut up my own from high quality art paper that I already have. The Acrylic, Oil and Watercolor papers will already be the right weight. Paper wise, I like to use 100lb bristol paper. The only requirement is that they be 3.5 x 2.5 inches.
Final bid 1008 credits. This card is going to California. I wanted this giant eye to feel different than the others that have been done so far. These make me curious to see the rest of the creature.
Final bid 404 credits. This card is going to California.
Final bid 492 credits. This card is going to Texas. My head hurt today so I spent much of it in bed. Then my parents came by to swap furniture with me. I had a little time before hand to clean up the tornado of the day. It was nearly 4pm before I started this card. I wanted to try to make something easily but this was actually a bit harder than I had hoped. I think it looks like the creature has a head ace too.
Final bid 505 credits. This card is going to Texas. I've been working in the gallery today. Perhaps being so near the ocean I was feeling a bit fishy today. I am so behind on my emails I spent a while today getting caught up. Hopefully tonight I can get that completed. There are still a few things I would like to take care of before I start anything new. At least the list is actually getting smaller... for now.
I started to feel ill when I was finishing this card. Before I had a chance to get it done I fell asleep on the floor of the living room. I didn't wake up until 1:30am. I figured that the card was what it was then. I've got to figure out how tot get these colors to photograph better. Final bid 520 credits. This card is going to Tennessee. Hello! My name is Blue ^_^ I love to travel through the Tasman Sea (also Known as The Ditch) where I have other Sea Slugs to hang out with at school. At night I Sleep in the sandy bottom of the Ditch with my Mother and Brother burrowed just beneath the surface. I love to eat many tasty treats like coral, sponges, and anemones! Sometime I eat different colored sponges (I just ate a red one :P) so I can change or add colors to my appearance , (Although my Mother doesn't like it.) My favorite food is poisonous sponges, since poisons don't effect me! Wanna hear something cool? I can store the poisons and launch it at an enemy if they get to close!! I'm not sure if what I see is what others will see but to me it looks like a venus fly trap eating Micky Mouse. Not sure how to color this one. I think I'm just going to go for it and have fun.
There was a reception this evening at my gallery for another new artist and myself. It was relatively slow but I had a good time. I would rather a smaller more intimate crowd than a mob. My grandmother came. It was nice to have her see my work in such a professional space. Final bid 4540 credits. This card is going to Illinois. I got some laundry done today. Tomorrow is the welcome party for Vern and I at the gallery. I'm starting to feel a little anxious. Trying to get ready for a yard sale. Figuring out how to do it with the kids is tricky. We shall see.
Oh yeah the creature. This is pure free association fun right here. Colors by suggestion. |
