Creature Card #10 ATC Edition "Spike HD"

Graphite on 2.5" x 3.5" smooth bristol paper.

I like sketching with the very light lead but the darker leads don't want to sit on top of it right. I started with the eyes on this one but then finished with them I was really enjoying the rest of the image and didn't feel like the eyes fit after it was all said and done. I tried to alter them a bit from the original design. I like it, sans the eyes... but I suppose they add to the strangeness of the creature.

This is Spike HD he lives in my High Definition Television and is constanly slithering about keeping everything clean and in working order. (Kinda of like my own personal Geek Squad) He eats partially recorded shows and constantly resets my TV to Pillar Box Format just to hear me cuss. I swear I hear him snickering.
