This is another drawing inspired by my church service. I started by sketching a flower on the new drapery that was behind the pastor, then turned it into this creature. The number 12 is frequently used in the Bible and there are also creatures mentioned that are covered in eyes. This one isn't covered in eyes but resembles the way a peacock will have eyes on the feathers, but these eyes would work like I imagine the seraphim's would. For those who think I'm not paying attention in church I'd like to mention that the right side of the brain is the creative side and the left side is the part that takes notes :) At least for me they both can work pretty well at the same time. The lesson I learned today was that I don't have to be powerful for God to use me. He works best with the weak. 2 Corinthians 12: 10 says "That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weakness, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
It has been positive working with Listia clients. I have meet so many fellow Christians and have been very encouraged by it! I was told recently that I should also make a coloring book of some of the more simple creatures at the end of this year. I like the idea. This would be a good card for that book. Final bid 303 credits. This card is going to Minnesota. It's name is the Mystarclopanextrasaurus! :)
