Say hello to the newest creature! My daughter said, when she saw it, that it looked like the king of flowers. I started drawing this character in church based on the ministers shoulders (I can draw and listen very well.) You might be able to tell where the collar of his shirt was, but the rest developed freely from there. The head still looks a lot like a radish to me, and I couldn't figure out how to diminish that. Even with the radish like head I thought it was fun and went with it. I hope you like it too!
I also included a photo of myself that I took today for the Listia.com stars feature in their newsletter. Im not sure when they will be having me there but they have said that they are interested. I will let you know when it comes out. I think it might be a monthly e-newsletter. Final bid 1278 credits. This card will be going to Michigan! They decided "Since Your Daughter named it, and I am keeping the name...i am sure I wouldn't think of any one better!...so if You would please include the title of this piece, and its "author's name", that would be a Deeeeeelight!!!" This character is "The King of Flowers" Author Ashley Chase.

Such a delightful, creative, one-of-a-kind work from such a Delightful, Creative and One-of-a-Kind Person, makes this a truly "Priceless" treasure! Having the Artist's Daughter (Ashley) name the piece gives it a Special and Unique Value, that will be passed on to my own Daughter (Audrey). There were Many aspects that drew me to this wonderful piece: The "liveliness" just jumps out at you! ~ This work being the first with a name already, and titled by a Precious Young Heart whose vision of innocence was a reminder to me that this is the way God wants ALL of His Children to be: My idea for a name was No Where Near As Good! ~ It was done in church...a Reminder to me to start going again, because God brings good to Us there too :) ~ The number "5": I was born 1/5/55. Then some "Bonuses" came along: Artist "Mom" got a 'high five' from Author and Daughter Ashley; there were a total of "15" bids; Then of course "Ashley" and "Audrey" ALL SO PERFECT!!!!

When I started working on these cards i had a bit of guilt that the work wasn't specifically oriented toward increasing the kingdom. But your words have brought me so much encouragement. LIke it says in 1 Corinthians 10:31 "So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." God can use us wherever we are and whatever we are doing! If this years accomplishments were to help you consider church again I have not worked in vain and I can live free of the guilt I once considered. Thank you so much for your words and taking the time to leave them. God works in mysterious ways. Watching it is such an amazing experience!
