I started drawing this card while waiting at the dentist office. This one had a lot of transitions. The place between the horns was the starting location and was originally the eye sockets. It had three eyes and the nose area is where you see the eyes now. As it developed there became these large white areas of the nose and all at once I saw to put the eyes there instead. this transformed the creature and it took on a new life becoming what you now see. I had a lot more going on in the horn area but as I shaded it in I found that I liked it simplified to just these three shapes. I desired to have a fuller head, which would be more realistic, but then decided to pull back and leave it thin and hollow. I also had to accept the amount of white area. Having such a long day I didn't feel I had the time to contemplate anything to add to it. (I got 4 cavities filled today.)
I think it's the creepiest thing I've ever done. That is actually exciting for me. I'm terrible at creepy things, now if I could only do it on purpose. :) Final bid 459 credits. This one will be staying in Oregon.
