I started thinking that I wanted to make a zentangle. Wether that became the card or not I didn't really care just wanted to draw with no purpose in mind. I grabbed this card because I figured it was the most abstract and I could just draw on top of it. I had absolutely no intention to create this. Although the initial thoughts were in line with the final narrative which I find interesting. Can you guess what I was thinking about? It happens to be the on the portion that is cut out. If you guess I'll show it to you (Yes. The area on the bottom left is CUT OUT of the card. The winner will receive the cut out with the card even if no one guesses what it is.) On a separate note I was able to get in contact with child support today. There was some kind of accounting error and they will be transferring the missing funds within the next day or so and hopefully it won't happen again! Thank goodness. PLUS If there is a card you didn't get to win, for whatever reason, and you would like to own a copy of the card I can make you a beautiful ATC print on watercolor paper for only $5.00. Just contact me here. And the winner is...This is a great time to win a card people, but you can't win if you don't enter!

I love zentangles. I have no idea where your mind was, though! Yellow guy looks kinda like a starfish dancing on the American flag, and there's a dove... something about peace,or freedom?

Some great visions there. I love the star fish idea that would have been helpful when I was trying to figure out what it was today lol. Your on the right track but haven't nailed it down. Do you get the zentangle feel?

I had forgotten the joy I experience when hearing others interpretations. It's hard for me to accept as an artist but when i allow myself to give up that layer of control I have a lot of fun :) I did feel likt the hand was grasping onto the pole but I had a different kind of pole in mind for it. I love the one piece reference. It really helps me see what you see. So much fun! You saw the royalty which made me smile too. I almost don't want to tell you what I saw. I have a feeling you might stick to your vision even if I did. Great guess. I very much appreciate your comments even if It takes me a little to get to reply to them.

Well you have the us government part right. That is relevant to the narrative to be sure :) I could see it being a genetic mutation. That would explain the creature and one could say that the country has become a mutation of it's former self.

Well I hope the anticipation doesn't overwhelm the reality of cause and effect. Enjoy the ride and there will be no worries.

And how about this. It will be up to the winner if they want anyone else to find out what the reality is. Sometimes it's fun to live in our own imaginations... up to you :)

the flag is disappearing, just like our freedom, and rights are.
