Name: Henrietta Story: She has a little bit of a head injury because she has just escaped Pluckies chicken hatchery. Oh what a difference a good nights rest can make. I think it needs to be done more often. If it only it wasn't so elusive. I got up early and got the card done so I could move on to work on one of the other pledge rewards. I started a painting that was actually 9 x12 expecting to cut it down to 8 x 10. The piece has worked out to where I don't want to cut it. It's taking FOREVER. It needed scales and as much as I didn't want to I really had to. Scales take a very long time. My finger is actually sore from holding the pen. I LOVE IT! Ash says I'm done but I think I should finish the winds at least. I'd love to ignore the other parts of the image. I don't know what to do with them and I don't want to mess up the siamese dragons. What do you think? ~click to enlarge~ And the winner is... NO ONEThis card will be posted to Listia.com (the original site used to distribute creature cards.) This should allow the opportunity to mention the project and hopefully get some more people visiting the blog to win creatures. I got a free premium auction for my birthday with the site so I'll use that.

I like your free art creature today. Makes me think of the ocean. Maybe that is what the ocean would look like if she wanted to walk around on land. :-) The siamese dragons are awesome! I think I would leave the other splashes of color alone. The wings could use some shading. But it is great as is. The scales are amazing. Keep up the good work.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and encourage me with your comments :) If you would like to be entered to win today's card all you must do is ask. I like your vision of her. A story can really make or break these creatures. I enjoy them more when I hear others interpretation of them. Helps me to know what I made. Sometimes I'm uneasy with them and I wonder if that is it. If I just knew the story the what is it factor changes. Allowances are given and enjoyed.... you've got me pondering. Thanks!

It's nice to get a classic creature out. I made a unicorn the other day as a reward pledge. The nice thing is I can make prints of the images even if the original is donated or sold. It's nice when what is created is cool enough for multiple uses :) I'm glad you like it. Thanks for letting me know

Just an fyi. If a card doesn't find a winner her or the entry can't win because they already have the creature will go to listia where you can win even if you already did on the website :) Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
