3.5 x 2.5 inch ATC, Ink and Gouache on watercolor paper
Woke up with a migraine and had to reschedule my long distance dr apt today. At this point I have the brightness all the way down on my computer and it still hurts to look at it. My vision is pretty blurry and my head is killing me. If I stand up my head will pound with my heart beat in a demobilizing way. I tried to work at what was probably my best time but the light really wore on me. Taking the photo and working on it were probably the worst because of the brightness required. I am not completely sure how I got it done or what it is but here you go.

Congratulations Dawn Dalrympie you have won this fabulous Original creature! You have the privilege of naming her and telling us about the story if you would like to participate. I think the collaboration leads to wonderful things and encourage all winners to try!

Hi I found you on listia Im on there as lynnnapier792. I love your work, and this one Im commenting on is great, for some reason, it reminds me of Pink Floyd. Im interested in doing ATCs myself so any tips you could give me would be much appreciated!

It is a pleasure to meet you Brandi! I'm glad that you could find us with the help of Listia. I'm happy to hear you enjoy my work also! What sort of art do you like to create? The only rule to an atc is 3.5 x 2.5 inches. If they are too thick they are difficult to store conventionally. Other than that make whatever you like. Search for atc's on ebay and etsy or google and I'm sure you will be amazed at the variety of possibilities that await you :) I look forward to seeing what you create and if you every have any questions I'm pleased to help if I can.

It looks like you describe yourself, a well lit place with eyes that do not like the light.
or it could be a creature just waking up, and each of the slits is an eye

You have such a great way of seeing the connections. That makes complete sense. If all the slit areas are eyes it would be impressive if it were to look at you in completion. Perhaps it is nocturnal?
