Free Art Day 39 "Rage"

Collaborative Creature

Name "Rage"
Story: Rage is the pet/mascot Phoenix of Lightning Slayer a fighter for good! Depending on the gear load out of the hero Rage takes on a different coloring or shine to boost her accordingly. 

I'm starting to fall asleep. Gotta write... blog... arg. 

So yay for a productive day! I started things off with 5 loads of laundry, visited the local energy assistance people for an appointment (thank you tax payers for helping pay for my electricity bill), stopped by my framer and picked up my work, dropped a piece off at my mom's and came home to take out the clothes. I got a little break before taking the cat to the doctor for his routene allergy shot. He has to have one once a month or he will brutally lick his hair off, poor thing. After that we went by the gallery to check on a sign I need to work on, found out when the valenties day party was and headed home in time to get Ashley off the bus. We had some hot chocolate with marshmellos. Kaleb did a pretty good job learning to sip little bits from his spoon. He is getting considerably better, still some mess but he is only 2. At some point I'm not exactly sure when my neighbor Rella came by to show me a creature she had worked one. She didn't care for how it was turning out but I loved it! I completely know that feeling too, but just like Chris looking at the work from an outside eye I enjoyed a unique perspective from the artists. I asked if I could work on it for today's creature. I see a physical and metaphorical phoenix. I know Rella was going for a lizard but one of the fun things about collaborating is giving the piece over to the others interpretation, for better or worse. I really enjoyed this. If anyone wants to send me a creature to collaborate on I'm all for it! Thank you Rella for your help and participation in the project. I'm so lucky to be your neighbor!

When I have a good day there is much to catch up on. I just hope I didn't over do it. There were Christmas clothes in the laundry so I could tell it had been a while since I've had enough energy to pull it off. Thank you Lord for the good health catch up day!

(Prior to posting this my computer froze. I restarted it and successfully passed out in the most uncomfortable position before everything loaded back up)

No winner yet... I'll post it to listia tomorrow and post a link when I've completed that. Whats wrong with a greeting card people?
